SOLAR HOT WATER

The shallow water of an ocean tide pool is usually warmer than the deep water.  That’s because the sunlight can heat the shallow tidal pool bottom, which in turn, heats the water.  It’s nature’s way of solar water heating.  The sun can be used in basically the same way to heat your home or swimming pool.

Walter’s Electric, Inc. has teamed with local plumbers to provide solar hot water systems in conjunction with photovoltaic systems.  Since hot water use comprises such a high percentage of your electric bill, it makes sense (cents) to install one to help offset the cost of your PV system.
